I am not too familiar with the Neufeld Memo (so I am unfamiliar withhow hard it is currently being enforced). However, as long as you are truly treating any H1B worker that you hire as an employee (e.g., controlling what they do, withholding taxes, providing them their equipment, etc.), you should have too much to worry about asin this regard. I have a book that has a chapter that goes into a little more detal than my post that I would be happy to send you if you would like.

Google "neufeld memo"... Any comments on how hard the new guidelines are being enforced? I'm hesitant to use any 3rd party H1B consultants until I understand better how this is being handled.
